According to the official Syrian News Agency (SANA), these agreements include five major projects in the fields of aviation, telecommunications, infrastructure and real estate development.
Syrian officials have stated that the goals of these agreements are to strengthen telecommunications infrastructure, develop digital connectivity systems, establish a joint Syrian-Saudi airline, and expand the fiber optic network throughout the country.
These agreements were made within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to expand economic cooperation and rebuild Syria’s infrastructure after years of crisis, and reflect the improvement in relations between Damascus and Riyadh.
