North Korea fires multiple missiles into eastern waters

South Korea’s Defense Ministry announced that North Korea fired several missiles from the Sondok area into the country’s eastern waters on Wednesday morning, November 3. Seoul and Washington are investigating the missile test.

The move came hours after Kim Yo-jong, the sister of the North Korean leader, rejected talks with the United States until Washington abandons its hostile policy.

At the same time, Kim Jong-un has emphasized strengthening his country’s naval power. A South Korean missile expert has also said that the continued tests could be a sign that Pyongyang is preparing to mass produce missiles.
