Iran’s Revolutionary Guards report explosions and fires on three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz
The Public Relations Department of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy has announced that three oil tankers, which the force said had violated regulations for passing through the Strait of Hormuz, were targeted by explosions and severe fires in the early hours of the morning.
According to this announcement, the tankers hit sea mines and caught fire on the southern coast of the Strait of Hormuz due to the shutdown of their navigation systems and the detection and passage of illegal routes.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy has said that regulations for passing through the Strait of Hormuz have been repeatedly communicated to ships through radio stations and announcements, and has warned that ignoring these regulations will have consequences.
The Revolutionary Guard Corps has also announced that the real situation in the Strait of Hormuz is different from what the US Central Command (CENTCOM) publishes in cyberspace.
