Steve Whittaker, Donald Trump’s special envoy, has announced that the United States will mediate talks between representatives of Russia and Ukraine at a working level in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on November 10 and 11.
According to Whittaker, the talks will focus on post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian efforts, and next steps toward achieving peace.
Witkoff also wrote on his X-Page that American negotiators will meet with representatives of France, Germany, Britain, the European Union, and NATO in Brussels this week.
According to him, the talks will focus on security guarantees for Ukraine, the post-war European security framework, and economic opportunities to support Ukraine’s reconstruction.
