Passenger bus falls into valley in Pakistan’s Punjab, 5 killed, 27 injured

Pakistani media reported that at least five people were killed and 27 others were injured after a passenger bus fell into a deep gorge in Chakwal district of Punjab province.

The bus was traveling from Islamabad to Karachi when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and fall into a valley.

Local authorities announced that seven women were among the injured, and the condition of some of the injured was reported to be critical; rescue operations are ongoing.

Road accidents are common in Pakistan due to the poor condition of roads and carelessness of drivers.
