Trump called the Strait of Hormuz “Trump Strait,” then said nothing about me is a coincidence

In his recent speech, US President Donald Trump mistakenly referred to the Strait of Hormuz as “Trump Strait.”

Moments later, he corrected his statement and again referred to it as the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump went on to say that “fake news” would likely say his statement was accidental or a mistake, but he stressed: “Nothing about me is accidental.”

These statements were made at a time when the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important oil transport ports, and any tension there could seriously affect the global energy market.
