Al Jazeera: Iran has acquired a new weapon and system that can hunt down Israeli and American planes
Ali Hashem, senior correspondent for Al Jazeera English, was surprised by the successive capture of American and Israeli planes by Iran’s internal defense systems.
It seems that the Iranians have something that they are using. We are talking about a new system and weapon. We saw Iran shoot down the F-18, F-35, F-16 and F-15 in the sky.
We don’t know what this weapon is, we don’t know what this system is. But here’s the thing: the narrative that had been formed over the past three weeks that Iran’s skies were completely open now seems to be in question, and the Iranians are capable of targeting Israeli and American aircraft.
