Beginning of the implementation phase of the Gaza ceasefire, according to Al-Mayadeen, Netanyahu’s denial and continued tensions

Al-Mayadeen News Network reported that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has entered its implementation phase as of 12:00 noon Gaza time.

The announcement comes amid celebrations among the people of Gaza and growing hope for an end to the 15-month conflict.

In front of the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he denied the start of a ceasefire and emphasized that no agreement has yet been implemented and that everything depends on this evening’s meeting of the regime’s security cabinet.

Israeli TV Channel 13 also explained that Israel will not launch any new offensive operations for now, but the complete withdrawal of forces is subject to the approval of the agreement by Netanyahu’s cabinet.

On the other hand, Al-Arabi TV reporter reported that two Israeli tanks have been deployed on the streets of Al-Rashid to prevent citizens from returning to Gaza City.

These developments come as US President Donald Trump has approved the first phase of the agreement and called on Hamas to act quickly.
