Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, in a message on the martyrdom of His Highness Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with him), the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of the Iranian people, expressed his deep sorrow and condolences to the noble people of this country and all Muslims around the world.

He recalled the high position of the Leader of the Revolution and his unique role in managing the Islamic Republic system over many years, and emphasized that the enemies are seeking to harm our beloved Iran by martyring him and launching a massive military aggression against the country.

Ayatollah Sistani called on the Iranian nation to maintain national unity and cohesion in these difficult and sensitive circumstances and not allow the aggressors to achieve their sinister goals.

In the end, he asked God Almighty to grant the deceased Saeed the highest ranks and divine pleasure, and to grant patience and a great reward to all those who were bereaved.
