The Uzbek consulate in Kazan has announced that seven citizens of the country have been killed in a drone attack in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.
According to Reuters, the attack took place on Monday in the city of Nizhny Novgorod, Tatarstan, and local Russian authorities had previously reported that at least 13 people, including a child, were killed and 39 others were injured.
Reports indicate that one of the Nizhny Kamsk oil refineries was also targeted in the attack.
The Uzbek consulate has not yet provided further details about the identities of the victims.
