Zelensky: Ukraine’s attacks on Russia’s oil sector continue with force

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that his country will continue long-range strikes against Russian refineries and oil facilities in response to Moscow’s attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

Zelensky said on Friday (November 6) that Russia continues to target Ukrainian power plants, electricity networks, heating facilities and water supplies with missile and drone attacks and refuses to take real steps to reduce tensions.

The Ukrainian president stressed that Kiev has identified the next targets of its long-range attacks and that these attacks will continue until Moscow shows real will to achieve peace.

Zelensky also made it clear that stopping Ukraine’s attacks on Russian oil facilities depends on stopping Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
