Elizabeth Warren, Democratic Senator from Massachusetts, has called Donald Trump “the most corrupt president in American history” in response to the Republicans’ defeat in the midterm elections.
Warren also said that Trump’s war against Iran has caused a significant increase in gasoline prices in the United States and raised the cost of living for citizens.
Meanwhile, Michigan Senator Abdul-Sayed emphasized that the Democrats’ goal is not political revenge, but rather to hold Trump accountable for his actions.
He added that addressing the rising cost of living, passing laws, and holding the president accountable for his decisions will be among their priorities.
