In its first statement, Hezbollah announced that it has entered the battle to avenge the innocent blood of the Supreme Leader of the Muslims, His Highness the Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Husseini Khamenei (Quds and Sanctities), which was unjustly and treacherously shed by the criminal Zionist enemy, and in defense of Lebanon and its people and in response to the repeated attacks of the Israeli regime.
Hezbollah emphasized that this operation is part of the resistance axis’s broad response to the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the aggression of the Zionist regime, and will continue.
In response, the Israeli army, confirming Hezbollah’s drone and missile attacks, announced that it had launched a new and extensive wave of heavy attacks against Hezbollah targets throughout Lebanese territory.
Clashes have intensified on Lebanon’s southern borders, and reports have been published of air defenses being activated and alarms going off in northern occupied Palestine.
