In response to claims about Tehran’s connection to developments in Yemen, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman called these statements “a distortion of reality” and emphasized that the Yemen issue must be resolved through dialogue.
He said that America and the Zionist regime were the initiators of the tensions, and the responsibility for everything that happens in the region and beyond lies first with America and then with its allies.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman also stated that the US war against Iran is a war against the entire region, adding that the US military presence in the region in recent months has led to increased insecurity and instability.
He emphasized that the only deterrent against threats is the authority and defense capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
