Sources in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa say that protests by supporters of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan will begin in the province today.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced that the first phase of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest march will start from the Lakki Marwat area.
Tehreek-e-Insaf supporters are demanding the release of Imran Khan and the party’s political demands, and people have been asked to participate in these protests in large numbers.
At the same time, the Pakistani government has blocked the routes leading to the capital with containers and increased security measures on these routes to prevent protesters from moving towards Islamabad.
