Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, in a meeting with ambassadors and heads of foreign missions in Tehran, said that if the country’s enemies once again take the path of military confrontation, Iran is ready to respond more firmly than in the past.
Araqchi added that Iran is serious both in defending itself and in pursuing a diplomatic solution, and is ready to reach a political solution and end the war if the ground for negotiations is provided.
Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, he also said that Tehran has clearly stated its conditions for opening the strait and has considered these conditions to be related to commitments that the United States must accept.
Araqchi has emphasized that if the other side chooses a military path, Iran will be more prepared to defend itself than in the past, and if diplomacy is chosen, Tehran is still ready to continue negotiations.
