Continued exchange of proposed texts between Iran and the US with Pakistan’s mediation

Tasnim news agency reported, citing a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, that the United States sent a new text three days ago through Pakistan in response to Tehran’s proposal.

According to this report, the Pakistani mediator in Tehran is trying to bring about rapprochement between the proposed texts of the two sides.

The source added that Iran is reviewing the new US text and has not yet provided a response.

It has also been emphasized that no final decision has yet been made regarding the texts exchanged between Tehran and Washington.

At the same time, the Axios website reported, citing an American source, that US President Donald Trump has briefed Netanyahu on a plan to end the war with Iran.

Based on this report, Trump said that mediators are preparing a “statement of intent between Washington and Tehran to end the war” and that a 30-day period of negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz is set to begin.

Axios also reported that Trump and Netanyahu discussed new efforts to reach a deal with Iran in a difficult phone call, with Netanyahu appearing furious after the call ended.
