One civilian was killed and four others, including a mother and three children, were wounded in three airstrikes by Saudi fighter jets in the al-Nashma area of al-Ma’afar district of Taiz province, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported.
The Yemeni Ministry of Health has also announced that eight fishermen were martyred in an airstrike by Saudi warplanes on fishing boats off the coast of Al-Kadaha in Taiz province. Based on these reports, the number of martyrs in these two incidents has reached nine.
These events are being reported as Taiz province has witnessed an escalation of clashes between Yemeni armed forces and Saudi-backed forces in recent weeks.
