Progress of energy projects and concerns about forced return of migrants in statements by the Deputy Prime Minister

Mullah Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the Ministry of Ministers, announced at the inauguration ceremony of the Naghlu solar power generation plant that the work of the CASA-1000 regional project has begun in an orderly manner and the documents of the TOP Turkmenistan Afghanistan-Pakistan project are also being completed.

These projects are important steps towards energy independence and regional cooperation.

The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed great concern about the situation of migrants, saying that about five thousand migrants are forcibly returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan every day.

This situation is truly painful. Children, women, and poor people have lost all their property there and are returning home oppressed.
