TTP attacks several military posts in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 11 and wounding 30
Local Pakistani sources have reported that two Pakistani army camps were attacked last night in the areas of Daghari on the outskirts of Quetta and Esplanji in the Mastung district of Balochistan province. No further details about these attacks have been released.
In another incident, a Pakistani forces post in the Azinda area of Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, was targeted by an explosion; rescue teams removed 11 bodies from the scene and transferred 30 injured people to hospitals for treatment.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was completely destroyed and that auxiliary forces sent to the area were ambushed.
