Afghanistan and Turkmenistan discussed expanding transport and infrastructure cooperation

Mullah Mohammad Isa Sani, Minister of Public Works, met with Khaja Awadov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kabul, to discuss the development of economic, trade, transportation, and infrastructure cooperation.

During the meeting, the progress of railway projects, including the construction of the 10-kilometer Aqine-Andkhoy railway line, the development of Turghandi port, and the creation of new facilities, were discussed.

The two sides emphasized the expansion of economic and trade relations, increasing transfers between the two countries, and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of transportation and infrastructure projects.
