According to news sources, in an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, the four permanent members of the council, including Russia, China, Britain, and France, strongly opposed the Israeli regime’s plan to completely occupy the Gaza Strip and forcibly transfer Palestinians to the south of the region.
The United States was the only country to support this plan.
Dmitry Polyansky, the deputy head of the Russian mission, called the plan a gross violation of international law and a sign of Israel’s disregard for the wishes of the international community.
Chinese representative Fu Kong also called on Israel to immediately stop this dangerous action, stressing that Gaza is an integral part of the Palestinian territory and that any change in its demographic or territorial structure must be met with strong resistance.
Representatives from Britain and France also called the plan “unacceptable” and warned that its implementation would lead to an escalation of the conflict, increased civilian suffering, and regional instability.
