Al Jazeera: The rise of right-wing parties in Europe has increased Afghan concerns
Al Jazeera has reported that as right-wing parties gain power in Europe, concerns about the future of thousands of Afghan refugees on the continent have increased.
According to this report, after the fall of the republican regime in August 2021, thousands of Afghans, especially those who collaborated with foreign institutions, were transferred to European countries.
Al Jazeera said right-wing parties typically support immigration restrictions, stricter asylum procedures, and the return of people who do not have legal residency.
According to the report, this approach could make the process of accepting Afghan asylum applications more difficult and increase efforts to deport rejected asylum seekers.
