Reuters :Iran will retaliate if US attacks again, tensions enter new phase

Reuters reported that Iran has said it will respond with long and painful blows if the United States resumes its attacks.

The report states that Iran has once again emphasized its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and warned that it will limit any misuse of this waterway.

A US official has told Reuters that Donald Trump is set to receive a security briefing on plans for a new round of military strikes against Iran.

At the same time, it has been reported that discussions are continuing in the US Congress on whether to continue or end the conflict, and Trump is facing a deadline to make a final decision.

Meanwhile, rising tensions have caused severe fluctuations in the oil market, and the price of Brent crude oil has at one point reached its highest level in four years.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has also said that stopping Israeli attacks on Lebanon is part of the Iran-US ceasefire understanding and is important in the future process.
