Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, has said that the text of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States includes the issue of the “Resistance Front,” and according to him, Donald Trump has recognized this front by signing it.
In a meeting with a number of cultural elites, Qalibaf said that in the initial 15-point text, the US had demanded that Iran abandon the Resistance Front’s nuclear missile program and the issue of the Strait of Hormuz.
He also said that he had suspended negotiations after the attack on the Dahiya area in Lebanon and warned that there would be a military response if the attacks continued.
The speaker of the Iranian parliament added that after Trump’s statements about simultaneously opening the blockade and the Strait of Hormuz, Tehran reacted – and, according to him, Trump was forced to correct his statements.
