US President Donald Trump has warned that Ukraine will face “very” bad consequences if it does not end its conflict with Russia; he has also acknowledged Russia’s military successes and said that Volodymyr Zelensky could have signed a deal to resolve the conflict on better terms two years ago.
Trump added that Europe is tired of the war in Ukraine and that Russia wants an end to the conflict. He criticized the extensive US military aid to Ukraine, saying that this aid has led to deaths, grief and financial losses, and that the US, in turn, has faced rising diesel prices.
