Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Eastern Economic Forum that his country is ready to work with its partners in the Eurasian Economic Union to create cross-border routes for unmanned vehicles.
He also announced Russia’s readiness to cooperate with the Asia-Pacific BRICS countries and the Eurasian Economic Union in harmonizing drone flight regulations.
Putin said that the volume of goods transported through the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor will double by the end of the decade and reach at least 70 million tons.
The Russian President emphasized that, given the complex conditions in the world, ensuring the security and flexibility of international transport and trade has become even more important.
