Lavrov: Moscow Format is the most comprehensive framework for regional consensus on Afghanistan

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that the Moscow Format is the most comprehensive framework for achieving a regional consensus on Afghanistan and that foreign actors cannot play an effective role in solving the country’s challenges.

At the Fourth Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, Lavrov referred to the holding of the eighth Moscow Format meeting last month and said that a high-level delegation from Kabul also participated in it.

He emphasized the importance of regional cooperation to address Afghanistan’s security challenges and strengthen stability in the Eurasian region.
