UN Secretary-General meets with Tajik President to discuss situation in Afghanistan

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in Bishkek and discussed cooperation between the UN and Tajikistan and regional developments, including the situation in Afghanistan.

Guterres appreciated Tajikistan’s continued cooperation on the global water and glacier agenda and welcomed Rahmon’s leadership in this regard.
