After more than 200 days at sea, the CENTCOM commander only praised the “resistance” of the Abraham Lincoln crew

While reports indicate increasing psychological concerns and difficult living conditions aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, the commander of CENTCOM has praised the ship’s crew’s “resilience” and “resilience” after more than 200 days of continuous presence at sea, rather than offering solutions.

Admiral Brad Cooper said his visit to the ship was inspiring and that the number of mental health issues on the ship is lower than on other US aircraft carriers, but families of the crew had previously expressed concerns about the deteriorating working and mental health conditions of the soldiers.

The Abraham Lincoln has been out of San Diego since November and has been deployed to support US military operations in the Middle East. The ship carries about 5,000 soldiers and marines.

Critics say that after months away from port and increasing pressure on the crew, US military officials were expected to take action to improve conditions, rather than simply praising the soldiers’ endurance after this long delay.
