IRGC: An aircraft carrier and an American destroyer were attacked by the Iranian Navy

The IRGC’s Public Relations Department announced that the organization’s Aerospace Force had targeted an aircraft carrier and a US Navy destroyer with several ballistic missiles, which the IRGC said were involved in harassing Iranian ships and creating a naval blockade.

The IRGC has claimed that the two ships left the conflict zone after sustaining damage and fearing a renewed attack. The organization also considered CENTCOM’s approval of the operation “a document of America’s strategic failure and a sign of its offensive power.”

In another statement, the IRGC’s public relations department announced that the IRGC’s navy had targeted an American remotely operated submarine (Shampad) that was attempting to enter the protected area of ​​the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC has emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is under the management of the Islamic Republic of Iran and that any hostile action by the US will be met with a response from the Iranian armed forces. The institution has called on the US to leave the region and end its evil.
