Europe is taking its gold reserves out of Trump’s reach

The publication “Bloomberg” has reported that some European countries are transferring their gold reserves from the United States, a move that the publication says is linked to concerns about Donald Trump’s policies.

According to the report, the Netherlands has transferred about $12 billion of its gold from New York to London, and France has transferred about $15 billion of gold held in the United States to domestic reserves.

Germany and Italy are also considering transferring some of their gold reserves from US treasuries, while about a century ago some European countries transferred their gold reserves to the US to protect them from Nazi Germany.
