Iran: 14-point plan is solely to end the war
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai announced in a press release that the 14-point plan, which was transferred to the United States through Pakistan, is solely focused on ending the war in the region and does not address any nuclear issue.
According to him, the American side has responded to this plan and conveyed its views through Pakistan, and Iran is reviewing this response.
Baqaei stressed that there are currently no nuclear negotiations underway and that the main focus is on ending the conflicts, including in Lebanon.
He also rejected reports about joint actions by Iran and the United States in the Strait of Hormuz, calling them “media fabrications.”
According to the official, the Iranian plan includes a 30-day period for talks on how to implement the agreement, and Tehran insists that it will not negotiate under any deadline.
