India strongly condemns Pakistani airstrikes on Afghanistan

The Indian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Pakistani army’s airstrikes on civilian areas in Nangarhar and Paktika provinces last night, which killed and wounded dozens of civilians, including women and children.

Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal described the attacks as “a blatant attempt to cover up Pakistan’s internal failures and weaknesses” and called them a blatant violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and international law.

New Delhi once again emphasized its firm support for the national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of Afghanistan and called for an immediate end to such aggressive actions and respect for the principles of good neighborliness.
