Britain, France, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Japan, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s decision to revoke the operating licenses of 37 international non-governmental organizations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
According to reports, the licenses of these organizations have been suspended since January 1st and their activities will be stopped within 60 days. Among these organizations are organizations such as Action Aid, the International Committee for the Rescue of Doctors Without Borders, and the Norwegian Refugee Council.
The Israeli regime has claimed that these organizations have not provided complete information about their employees, but non-governmental organizations emphasize that providing such information would put their employees at serious risk.
The foreign ministers of the ten countries stated in a joint statement that international non-governmental organizations are vital for providing humanitarian assistance in Gaza and that any obstruction of their activities is unacceptable; they warned that without these organizations, it would be impossible to respond to emergency needs at the required level.
