Ukraine attacks Donetsk with long-range “Storm Shadow” missiles

Senior Russian diplomat Rodion Miroshnik told TASS news agency that on Monday (9th of May) the Ukrainian army used long-range “Storm Shadow” air-to-surface missiles for the first time against civilian targets in the Voroshilovsky district of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The attack, which occurred at 9:30 p.m. Moscow time, left one civilian dead and three wounded, and caused extensive damage to 11 commercial buildings, six stores, a shopping mall, a bank, a research institute, a music academy, a government building, and several cafes.

According to Mironik, this attack did not differ much in terms of the scale of damage from previous Ukrainian attacks on Donetsk.
