Zelensky: Ukraine’s long-range drone strikes are a ‘just’ response to Russia’s continued war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that his country has once again targeted Russian infrastructure facilities, including an oil refinery in the city of Ufa, in a continuation of long-range drone attacks.
He said the attack took place more than 1,300 kilometers from the front line and described it as part of a long-range sanctions strategy against Ukraine in response to Russia’s continued war.
Zelensky stressed that similar attacks on oil facilities and port infrastructure in Crimea were also carried out, calling these actions a “just response to Russian attacks.”
The Ukrainian President also thanked the country’s security forces, drone units, and special forces for successfully carrying out these operations deep inside Russian-controlled territory.
