The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Public Relations Department announced that an MQ-9 drone was intercepted and destroyed during air clashes in the Strait of Hormuz region.
According to this announcement, the drone, which was approaching the scene of the conflict from the north of the Persian Gulf, was targeted by IRGC air defense fire in the sky of Jam district, Bushehr province.
The IRGC stated that the drone intended to intervene in the battlefield and was destroyed by defense systems.
