British media have reported that more than 100 firefighters have been dispatched to contain a large fire at a recycling center located in southeast London.
The London Fire Brigade said 15 fire engines were sent to the incident on Landman Way in Bermondsey on Monday afternoon.
Fire officials have asked residents in the area to avoid approaching the scene of the incident due to the heavy volume of smoke and to keep the doors and windows of their homes closed.
No reports of possible casualties from the fire have been released so far.
