US President Donald Trump has said it is time for Ukraine to elect a new president; he claimed that Volodymyr Zelensky had many opportunities to reach an agreement to end the war but did not take them.
Trump also accused Zelensky of causing problems for American farmers by attacking Russian refineries and fuel facilities, and said Ukraine had been warned not to attack diesel fuel facilities.
Trump stressed that Ukraine needs a leader who can reach an agreement with the other side, remarks that reflect continued disagreements over how to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
