Iranian media have reported that missiles and drones have lit up the night sky over Iraq and that widespread attacks have been carried out against targets described as “related to the United States.”
The IRNA and Tasnim news agencies reported the attacks and announced that several targets in Iraq were attacked.
At the same time, reports indicate that American fighter jets have been scrambled in response to these developments.
No further details have been released yet about possible casualties or the exact nature of the targets attacked.
