Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that ignoring UN resolutions on Palestine and relying on military force may suppress the problem for a short time but will ultimately become a “ticking time bomb.”
In an interview with Russian television, Lavrov emphasized the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, saying that the oppression inflicted on the Palestinians in the Arab world is clearly felt and that the lack of a just solution increases instability in the region.
He added that the Zionist regime may temporarily contain the problem through military methods and force, but this issue will explode sooner or later.
