In a report, the New York Times newspaper, referring to recent developments in the region, discussed the strategic role of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement around two of the world’s most important waterways, the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The newspaper, by publishing an image on its front page, highlighted the Iranian and Yemeni control of these two strategic ports and wrote that recent developments could affect control of important oil and goods transportation routes in the region.
