Pope Leo XIV once again emphasized the need to establish peace in the world, despite Donald Trump’s criticism of him for his statements about the Iran war.
“We have different beliefs, different ways of worship, different ways of life, but we can live together in peace,” the pope told reporters on his private plane.
“I think promoting this kind of perspective is something the world needs to hear today,” he added.
These comments come after Donald Trump previously said of the Pope: “He doesn’t understand and shouldn’t talk about war because he has no idea what’s going on.”
