According to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, a number of scholars and businessmen of South Africa, in a meeting with Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, acting head of the ministry, considered the conditions and opportunities for investment in Afghanistan to be very suitable and to invest in the country’s mineral resources, including gold, copper, oil and Gas have expressed interest.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar in this assuring any kind of cooperation with them, Dizar said that Afghanistan is rich in mineral resources, of which 11 blocks of the Herat oil field are in the notification stage, and if South African businessmen are interested, they can invest in these projects.
