Trump: Not all Afghans are to blame, but we have had many problems with them after an Afghan attacked Washington
US President Donald Trump said he did not blame all Afghans for the attack on members of the National Guard in Washington, D.C., but stressed that Afghans “have created a lot of problems for the United States.
Referring to the chaotic withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan in 2021, Trump said to reporters: “There was no inspection or screening. They just piled onto the planes!”
He added that at that time, whoever was physically stronger was able to board the plane and that many of the people who were transferred to the United States were “bad people.”
The US President also acknowledged that a large number of Afghans present in the country entered legally and not all of them can be held responsible.
