Telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan: Commitment to strengthening relations and humanitarian assistance

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan announced a telephone conversation between Foreign Minister Yermak Kusherbayev and Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amirkhan Mottaki, in which the two sides emphasized the continuous development of cooperation and maintaining active political dialogue.

The press release states that the ministers discussed key aspects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and confirmed their mutual readiness to further strengthen friendly and beneficial relations.

In this interview, Premik Kusherbayev expressed condolences for the recent devastating earthquake in the country and announced Kazakhstan’s plan to soon dispatch a humanitarian delegation to Kabul.

This delegation will include health professionals, essential medicines and supplies.

Amir Khan Mottaqi also appreciated Kazakhstan’s continued support and noted that two shipments of humanitarian aid from the country, weighing a total of 3.7 thousand tons, were delivered to the country earlier this year.
