Trump: Ukraine war has no impact on America
In an interview with Fox News, US President Donald Trump separated America from Europe in the Ukraine war and said that we have to see how things go; I hope it goes well, but this war has no effect on us because, as you know, there is a big ocean between us.
Referring to developments in the Ukraine war, Trump added that despite the geographical separation, millions of people are losing their lives in this conflict.
He also once again warned European countries not to buy oil from Russia, describing this action as one of the ways to pressure Moscow to end the war.
Trump’s remarks come after he previously expressed disappointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the lack of agreement on a ceasefire and emphasized America’s role in ensuring peace after the end of the war.
Trump has also promised that no American troops will be sent to Ukraine and that he will focus on direct negotiations between Putin and Zelensky.
