Israeli army approves plan to occupy Gaza City
According to Zionist media, Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, approved the operational plan for the occupation of Gaza City in a special meeting with senior commanders and Shin Bet representatives.
According to reports, the operation, which includes the massive evacuation of residents from the besieged city and its gradual occupation, accompanied by airstrikes, will last about four months.
The plan, which is being promoted with the support of Israel’s security cabinet and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has faced widespread domestic and international criticism.
