Sanaa government called for an end to the siege on Yemen
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Sanaa government sent two letters to the President of the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, calling for an end to the blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.
These letters emphasize that the continuation of the blockade of Yemen, which began on March 26, 2015, is not in the interest of international peace and security.
The Sanaa government has also warned that the continuation of hostile actions by the US and its allies will deepen the regional crisis and have catastrophic consequences.
These messages state that the situation of “neither war nor peace” is no longer acceptable to the Yemeni people, and a solution must be sought to end the crisis and lift the siege.
